It has begun...

If you came over to our house for the first time after today, you would think that we were boring people. We have NOTHING on our walls...we have started to pack up this week.

You know how Katy is; once she starts a project, it is ALL she thinks about. We know that we will be moving in 2 weeks, but we don't want to do it all in one weekend. We started with the walls, taking down everything and packing it all up and putting it out of the way.

It's crazy to think about all of the stuff that we have to move.... It's a little overwhelming! It makes it easier that we have started now and not in a week and a half.

Have you ever noticed for those who have moved at least once, that when you move you start out with really nothing, and when you get to the point that you move again, you pack up and when you get to the new place (it's usually a bigger place) you spread out? and if you ever got to the point of moving a 3rd time to an even bigger place, you spread out? it's amazing how that happens. you could never go back to the smaller space...

We have a couple things that we want to get for this new place, but it always seems that they keep adding up and harder and harder to afford. We need to get a washer and dryer, a dining table (we have never owned one) and of course Katy wants and usually picks out the most expensive one! (thanks Linda for giving Katy this sense of taste ;). Anyway, there are a bunch of decorations that we need, we want a printer, rugs for the kitchen and the dining room. We also want a King sized bed because we can fit it now... We also need a lawnmower now that we have a lawn. YAY!! WE HAVE A LAWN!!! FRONT AND BACK!! We also would like a freezer for the garage. can you believe that we have a garage?!?! It just seems a little too good to be true. And you know that Katy is just waiting for the bottom to drop out.

Thanks for everything you guys have done. And we hope that everything is going well for you guys too! Ciao
