Web 2.0 – What does it really mean?

I have to do this for my CSIS 1000 class...it is intro to blog making. Even though I have had a blog for a while! :)

Kind of cool if you like computer stuff. Honestly I think it is amazing what can be done with a computer...but really I don't have any desire to learn how or why a computer does or does not do something? I will that up to people like my Dad and friend Ron, who know and like computer stuff. ;)

quick update

I know it has been a while, but don't get to excited this is going to be short. i am doing this for my sweet mother in-law who claims she is going through withdrawals.

We are good, REALLY busy. Both in school and feeling good. I am still serving and have been labeled a"good server" so i get some really nice shifts. Because I am the blog updater and have been so crazy with life the blog has been nearly forgotten or at least set on a back burner.

Braxton is crazy as ever! Talking a ton, and constantly telling us how he feels, what he does or does not want, and how we should be doing things. We get "Mommy come here right now!" and "No not that one!" all the time. It is strange to have a little person telling you how to do things, but he know what he wants when he wants it. Quick story, I always say "Braxton if you do not stop doing that I am going to be angry." that is his warning. the other day i was singing a song in the car, and I get this from the back seat little man..."mom if you don't stop singing I am going to have to be angry!" I laughed so hard!

Micheal is my little cuddler. Always wanting to sit with mom, and constantly babbling. He says a few things but you have to pay attention to catch them. He idolizes his big brother and wants to be with him all the time. Trying to run which is such a fun stage and learning to use big boy utensils at meals. I constantly hear him singing to himself, and I love to watch him pop popcorn when we sing that song.

That is us, there Karen just for you!

Love you all KATY

PS i have lost 23 pounds and have 30 more to go to hit my goal weight!!!1 GO ME!!

PSS I realize I am not the best mom, the most up to date pictures i have of the boys are in January! I hope there are more recent ones on my camera? Hey Brigdet when did you want to take pics of my boys?

Lacking

So i have not posted in A LONG time, and the reasons are many...school, little boys, busy in school, but the main is I got a job. I am serving at I HOP. Just three-four nights a week. The reason behind the job is debt. Chad and I have always seemed to have it but recently I had so teeth issues, with out insurance it is going to cost a small mint ;) so I got a job to try to get rid of it, plus we both feel as though we truly need to live independently... I don't know if that makes sense, we just feel that the prophetic council on being debt free is directed straight to us. So the x-tra from the job goes straight to that ever lingering debt.

I really don't love this picture but i never put one of me up so...
Braxton is talking so much and is the smartest little boy, favorite words right now "Oh my Gosh", and "I like this". He is an AMAZING big bro, constantly playing with his bro and I hear "Come on Michael, come on" All over the house. He is SO SMART, and loves to sing. I think we will shoot for potty training the week off Spring break, wish us luck!

Micheal is a monkey, if he can see over it he thinks he can climb it. He is talking but you have to know what he is saying., "Hi dad", "na night", "Ya" and "All done" are our most common sayings. He is walking every where and learning to run, I love watching his little legs trying to move as quick as his big bro.

Chad is doing well in school, no huge complaints from him so I guess he is doing well. As always he is a great daddy, and a great hubby. This picture is old, but I love the HUGE smile on both the faces so it is one of my favorites of my boys.

Cleaning house

Wow our house is GROSS! We have all been sick the last few days...or weeks...then this weekend it final caught up to me! WOW it knocked me out, I slept 12 hrs Saturday and then another 15 Sunday. But we are all doing better now, all but Michael. He has molars coming in so his little nose won't stop running.

Anyway, after the weeks of sickness and my three days of "out like a light" our house needed to be CLEANED!!!! So bad. Wow i did three loads of dishes this morning, scrubbed my kitchen, 5 loads of laundry, vacuumed and still need to clean the bathrooms!!! but i am finally feeling like my house is once again mine and not infested with THOUSANDS of germs.

That's it for us, love you all

Blessed

I just have to blog today and say how incredible blessed i feel to live in today's world, in this Country, and this point in time.

I feel so lucky to be one the "chosen generation" to come and bring beautiful children into the amazing land of opportunity and growth. I know that I have been stressed before about the world and my kids growing away from the church, and I bet I get that way again, a time or two more before I die;) but at this point I am grateful and happy they are here with me now.

I love this country! i think too often we (myself included) get caught up in all of it's flaws, all the things we don't like about it, all of it's "missteps" but compared to SO many more counties out there...WE ARE DOING GREAT! Yes we have things we need to work on, and no we are not perfect, but I LOVE this country, it's history, it's passion, it's Independence, and SO many other things I can not even write them ALL.

I think that some of my family will disagree with this next point but, again another reason this country rocks, I can say what i feel without fear of retribution. I feel so blessed to be alive today. The very first African American President gave his Inaugural address today. How amazing is it to see the progress our country has made, the steps we are taking to become a more tolerant and loving nation. I chose to believe that Barrack Obama is going to do amazing things with our nation, i feel he is going to take us in a direction that is positive, and I pray that he will use the power we as a nation have given him to better our home.

Thanks for letting me spill my guts for a second. I love you all KATY

What a great life!

Hello we have been just hanging out. Life for the Huntsman's is BLISS! We occasionally stress about Money but now a days who does not.

Braxton is such an angel, he is constantly telling me he loves me, and asking for kisses. He is helping mom any time he can and constantly reminding me how fun life can be.

Michael is not my "little" boy any more. He gives you five, says "hi" and is starting to walk. He and Braxton have reached a GREAT age, they are starting to really play together. I love hearing "common Michael, Come on!" as they make their way to Braxtons room. I am loving it, just to sit back and watch the two of them play makes my day and my life!

Chad is doing well in school, he is gratefully for this semester. He has half the Homework load he had last semester. It is all because he is ALL DONE with MATH. SO jealous. He is loving his Christmas present, a WOW trail. He plays with his bro and our cousin Con often, I love it!!

Me, I'm doing great. Love school, love having more to do other than being home, not that that is not amazing but it feels good to be bettering myself. The ballroom class I am taking is kicking my butt!!!! I have 9 pounds till my goal weight, then only forty after that ;) but I am doing it 10 pounds at a time. My goal is by next year! Go me! I stripped my kitchen floor and recovered it, it looks great. I love cleaning!

That is us, sorry no syrup just wanted to rant and rave about my amazing family and our many blessings!! Love you all
