Wii're getting into it!

I should probably wait for Katy to be here when I blog this, because she might have more to add.

The story starts out that yesterday I decided to stop by Wells to see Katy, and talk to her about dinner and what we were going to do that night. She said that we would have dinner, and watch American Idol. That was it. well, her co-worker invited us to go watch American Idol at her house. It turned out that we would be going over to her house with dinner, and they would make a dessert. We watched American Idol and also the new show, "Are you smarter than a 5th Grader." it was pretty funny. After that we decided to try out their new Wii gaming console.

Now, I've seen the TV ads about the pros and cons of the Wii, and I've heard many things about how they work. they really work you hard. Katy started with Boxing against her C0-worker. They got all set up, and started the round. IT WAS INTENSE!!! Katy is throwing punches left and right, upper-cutting, side swiping, and just flailing about mostly. To mildly put it, Katy knocked her out in the first round! She had even broken a sweat! Once we had our fill, we packed up and left for home.

It is now the day after, and it is a sad story. We are sore... Katy especially. She had thrown so many punches that her shoulders had overloaded.

It was alot of fun to get your body going, and competing at things like Tennis, Baseball, Golf, and of course Boxing; without even having to have to leave your house. If it were cheaper, we might find a way to afford it, but as of right now, we are going to get our exercise (i know, sad excuse for exercise, but you should try it out. It really works you out) elsewhere. Speaking of which, I am off to swimming.

Talk to you all later,

Huntsmans

Help!

So I have a few problems I can not seem to solve myself... any suggestions or solutions would be great!

1) I have a clear shower curtain, I think all my sisters have seen it? But it is covered by water stains, which is to be expected but it is really starting to bother me. I have tried washing it in the washer, spraying it at off at the car wash with high pressure water, and scrubbing it with good old fashioned elbow grease! It is looking slightly better but still is rather gross. Any suggestions?

2) We got an i-pod. It is really great and we like it a lot, but we have two different computers with itunes on each. The one we don't use at all anymore but I really would like to have the music that is on the itunes system. I don't have the Cd's any more or I bought the music, and don't want to pay for it again. We have tried a lot of things but I think, no I know, that I struggle. Chad has tried a couple of things but the older comp that we want the stuff off of, has no burner and little to no Internet connection? Dad put it together for me before I left for college my freshman year, so it has not been used in a while!?!

3) Chad and I have done really well with Braxton and his schedule. We have really tried to keep him healthy and on a good realistic schedule. Now we have been very successful, UP TO NOW!! I know that kids kind of make their own schedule and that is OK, but I am struggling with him. He will sleep for twenty then up for five then back down for two hours? He will eat two ounces at nine and then scream at me to feed him an hour later? I know this is normal for babies but if you have been around Braxton he really is not normal. He is always happy hardly ever cries and he has been sleeping through the night since we brought him home. So any suggestions? Do I need to just chill and let him figure it out? Do I need to push the schedule harder? HELP!

Thanks to all of you who help me with my simple problems! KATY

MOVING?!?!?!?!?

It seems that life never slows down, and here is PROOF!...

So we mentioned in a blog earlier that things were not going so well with our managing position. Today we went to look at some apts that are for lower income families, not subsidized but lower income. There was an opening so we took a look and the apt looked good; but we were still not sure what we were going to do...

Later today we got a call from our current landlord. He asked if we could come up and see him for a couple of minutes. He informed us that it was not working out and we informed him that we agreed, it was no longer the place for us to be. He also needed the apt open to renovate so he could sell it. Honestly two hours before this conversation we were on our knees asking the Lord whether moving was the best option. Wow how fast the Lord works!

So now we are moving into a different apt and starting to pay rent again, so any one who is availible and feels like driving to Cedar City we are moving on Tuesday and Wednesday. HE HE HE!!!

Even though we ar glad to no longer be managing and we know that we are going were the Lord needs us...I wonder how long we will be in that apt? We are still really hoping for the other place to open up, and we know that the amount in rent is going to throw us for a loop. But I have this voice in the back of my head (my husband) telling me that the Lord will put us where he needs us, and give us the means to stay there. I just hope I have the faith to trust him in the mean time.

You always look back at these experiences and laugh at the way you freaked out, or smile at how great things worked out. But in the here and now, i'm still freaked and still wondering...

Pray for us (me) please!

Unknown Tests

I have most of my classes on the Monday, Wednesday, Friday, block. So today (Wednesday), I went to my classes. The last class of the day is Microbiology, and we had a test today. We were told that the test was on Chapters 4 and 5, so I studied for them last night pretty well, with the study guides, and had Katy quiz me with them as well.

I was feeling pretty confident with myself; and went to class. The test was 88 questions long, and it started out great and all then it started to get weird... It started to have questions that had nothing to do with what I studied.. what was I supposed to do?

Well, I started to answer them with some skeptisism, not knowing what to expect.... I am blogging this becuase i wanted to know if you guys have ever had this happen to you before; a professor telling you that the test is on such and such of chapters, then turning and throwing in some questions that he never mentioned? I think that they shouldn't do that. Anyway. I'm done.

Ciao

Hey

So I have not blogged in a day or so, so...

Life for the Huntsman's is pretty much same old same old! We are loving Cedar, even though we wish we could be closer to family we really have no desire to live in Utah county with all the hussel and bussel. We really enjoyed visiting though and love seeing every one!

My job is going well, we are trying to find a way to have me home this summer, or at least cut my 38 hours down to 20, then we can still keep the benefits we get from my job, but i can see my boy more. We are patiently waiting for some really great apt to open up, but if you know me at all this is really not one of my forte's. I would rather know right now, then wait...maybe the Lord is trying to teach me something??

Thank you for all the birthday wishes and the gifts. It is nice when you get something you were not expecting.

Chad continues to press on with school. He is so bright and will do so well, but he gets bored with subjects that are not in his field. He so badly just wants to start teaching, he is an amazing teacher! I have no doubt that he will have a very large impact on many of his students lives. But again its that patients thing we Huntsmans are so good at!?!

Well that is our life. We love you all and hope you all have a great day!

Chad, Katy and Braxton!
