Colgate!?!?

Okay, so this is Chad blogging just because I have a short event that I want to share.

Tonight Braxton had just finished taking a bath and I had him all dressed up in his "newer" PJ's and it was time for bed. Well, we just recently started having him brush his teeth so he can get into the habit early. I got up and went to brush my teeth to show him and gave him his toothbrush to follow suit.

I started to get the toothpaste out when I asked Braxton what he wanted on his toothbrush. "Do you want some desitin? how about some Gillette or Colgate?" He stopped in his tracks and starred at me.. and you could hear Katy in the other room saying " Colgate, Colgate, Colgate, Tell him Colgate!"
That's when I turned to Braxton and said, "if you say Colgate right now, I will hug you and never put you down!" Again, he just starred at me, and then at Katy.. He turned to me and started saying" Coogay Coogay Coogay.

Isn't that just the cutest!

Hope you had a laugh

Nursery and suggestions

So Braxton went to nursery for the first time on Sunday. He did great and really loved it,and I got to actually listen in class, not fight my rambunctious little one. Which brings me to my next topic...

Suggestions-Braxton is a very good little boy...as long as he is able to run and play and go as he pleases. Chad and I tried to go to diner tonight with some friends and 50% of the time he was throwing a fit. How can we teach Braxton to be OK in public, to sit and be content sitting still? I am truly asking for help, I wont be offended or bothered if you suggest something, please do. Those of you who have seen us with Braxton in public, can you tell us if it is something we are or are not doing? I know he is a one and a half and it is normal not to want to be contained, but it is so bad I wont even go to the grocery store with him! Please help.

Ketchup HE HE

Well we have had a busy life! We went up north to bless Michael, and had fun seeing families. We came home and Chad gave me a Cricut cutting machine for my b-day. I love it! I am so excited to start using it more. I would really love to have a space were my scrap booking stuff can just sit out, but I am so grateful for the wonderful place I have got now!! Chad is so patient to let me have my stuff all over the kitchen counter for days on end. We have a friend staying with us while she is between apts so our spare room is in use at the moment. i would love to build a custom piece of furniture to have all our computer, sewing, and scrap booking stuff on. Oh did I mention that my mom gave me a awesome sewing machine for my birthday! I am so blessed!

Our boys are so good, and fun. Michael is so big, but unfortunately my camera card will not run on the computer! But this computer has been through so much I am surprised it is still in one piece! Braxton is starting to really talk, and will repeat almost everything you say! Chad is doing so well in school, and I am going back to work in a week. I am so dreading that, but it is only for two months! I can do anything for two months!

$1643.86 mistake

SUU is funny, Chad got a check form the school today for the rest of his refund that we did not pick up, it was supose to be just over $900 but when we picked up the check...2609.36???? Well ok? We called the school and after a conversation we discoved they had cut the check for to much.. no really. Any way we returned the extra and just laughed it off. I wonder how many mistakes they make with people that are not honest?

Tagged

The rules of the game should be posted at the beginning of the post. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comments, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1. I have two beautiful little boys
2. I HATE the sound and feeling of paper on teeth...it's like nails on the chalk board.
3. I have twisted my hair in my fingures since I can remember, and can even tie it in a knot with one hand.
4. I am a really horrible driver, and have really always been.
5. "Cash Cab" is one of my favorite tv shows.
6. It is not uncommon for me to drink about two gallons of water a day.

I am now supose to tag others but...really dont want to, sorry, but you can still it if you want?

OUR GOAL IS REACHED!!!!

It is amazing we have no unnecessary debt!!! Can I say it again, NO DEBT. Our car, but I feel ok about that. Now to some this may not seem like a big feat, but Chad and I had some credit cards that we have been paying on since 2006. Long story short we lived on them during maternity leave. Well with some help from the Lord, many prayers, arguments, and a tax return later...WE HAVE NO UNNECESSARY DEBT! I am really proud of Chad and I. We are doing so well, and it feels really great to be living the way the Lord has asked. I mean we always have, we were working to get out of debt, but after two years of really struggling, we are there. Thank you for letting me be this excited, it felt never ending!!!!
