Two blogs in two days!! WOW

I know this is highly unusual for me and for this blog. But when you are up at 4 am with a sick baby you don't have much else to do, but love the baby and blog so...

Christmas

Christmas this year was great! We had Santa visit, and this is the first year that Braxton has really understood what that means. It really made the entire thing so much more exciting!

Then it was onto Michael's birthday. Poor guy got the raw end of that one. Who wants a birthday the day after Christmas. We try our hardest to make the day extra special and ALWAYS have a gift for him. His grandparents were good at sending a present with the Christmas presents we got, and thank you thank you to them.

I loaded the pictures backwards so Michaels birthday is first. And I have to apologize for my pictures my camera is broken, i hope to get a new one eventually.

Syrup

We did our 4th annual gingerbread house party on the 11th. It was so fun. Chad did a haunted house this year. The spiders and grave was my favorite.

We had multiple little people there this year. This Maliahs house and Ana's house. Notice there is no candy on Ana's :) and Maliah's house did not withstand the decoration. It was so fun.
This is Braxton's house, I may be a proud mama but his was so well decorated, and he actually had candy left to put on it. However if you notice one of the gumballs has been sucked on prior to building.
This is Chad's favorite spot for his boys. I have a picture of all three of my kiddos in this exact spot on their dad. :) Of course my Caden is no exception.

My fatty fatty. Michael still has him beat in the cheek area, but look at the wonderful double chin!!! I LOVE fat babies.

This is my all time favorite pic of this boy. He is this way almost all the time, loves his big brothers and is starting to track them as they run around him. I have no doubt this little man wont spend much time not moving, too much going on, too many people to play with.

A full heart

I can not put into words how I am feeling.

This morning at about eleven I learned that a friend of mine had lost her six month old baby. Their sweet little Evie went to bed the previous night and then suffocated in her sleep.

My friend is in shock, DUH! But she made some comments this morning that really say a lot about her character and her faith in our amazing gospel!! She mentioned how grateful she is for the Lord, and his sacrifice. How powerful the lesson is that we are all learning now because of this tragedy and also the things that we will ALL learn from overcoming this. How powerful. I find it profound and humbling to know her testimony. I know that things will get much worse before they get better, and we all know that the days to come will be nearly unbearable for her and her family. But I had to share how amazing I think she is.

I know this is not the message you were all expecting from a person who does not blog very much, but my heart was full and I needed to vent just a bit.
