Stressing~

So I have been taught since I can remember "Do all that you can, and the Lord will make up the difference!" I always think of the little Mormon add with the little girl and her dad with the bike. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Anyway, I am really lacking! I feel like my "All that I can" Is not much right now. I feel very overwhelmed. The new baby is not even here yet and I am stressing. I am just so grateful for my AMAZING hubby who strengthens my faulting testimony. And for the little moments my children give me between fits that reminds me they are not the spawn of Satan. :)

Just wanted to vent for a second. Sorry the blog is a downer!

Love you all KATY

I know another blog

My sweet boys this morning!

Don't ask me why, but the blogging is happening.

Chad is taking a class that works with his professional development. His professor says he wants the three students in the class to walk out ready to walk into a job interview. The professor is helping them with interview skills, their lesson plans and many more things. He asked the class to dress professionally every class. Dress the way they would if they were teaching.

Chad has one white dress shirt and one pair of black slacks. He has the class three days a week, so we hit the Van Hussein Outlet in St George. Not only is it the outlet, but they had an additional 50% of shirts! We spent a pretty penny, but saved even more and we both know that when he graduates and starts teaching we will have less to invest in then.

We got:
5- shirts
2-Pants
1-Jacket
1-Belt (reversible)
7- Pairs of socks
4-Ties

Grand total 250.00

I made chad try on a few of his new outfits so I could take pictures and blog, he is SO HOT in these clothes and I can tell he feels so good. I know I am biased but I married a very attractive man!!!

We were not going to buy the suit, but the jacket was marked down, it was listed at $179.00, and we got it for $62.00

The decision and getting in trouble!

I am not going to school. The English class I wanted was open and availble, but the other class was not. I e-mailed the professor and asked to be put in the class but because of budget cuts, they are not taking ANY extra students in the online classes! So I am not going to school. It is not worth it to take just the one class, I am not considered part time and that affects the finacial aid I am qualified for. SO we will just wait.

I have to share another Braxton story.

We have some kids in our area who are older and play outside around our younger ones all day. I don't mind this usually, but they say words that this mama has worked hard to avoid. Number 1 being "Stupid". Well Brax picked it up, and of course so did Michael, so we got right on top of it. Straight to time out if the word was herd. No questions asked.

Well yesterday while driving with the family, I was talking to Chad about his schooling, and some long term goals and used the word in question twice. Braxton got so mad at me. I had to apologize over and over, and he said I needed to go to time out "NO QUESTIONS ASKED". I talked to Brax and said that even mommies make mistakes and that I was very sorry. I also asked him to help me be better.

There is nothing more humbling than being reprimanded by a 3 almost 4 year old! It was VERY embarrassing!

On a lighter note these are some pictures from the lake trip we took right before school started! It was so fun! Chad's little sister was here for the trip, and she was such a huge help! Thanks "mana" ;)

Braxton loved to swim, it took him about 5 seconds to realize his life vest would keep him afloat, and he was all over it. Michael was not so keen on swimming and clung to mom like a leach! This was the entire group. Three fams, the Marbles, the Larsens and our selves. It was a total of seven adults (including Amanda) and 7 kids under 5. It was really a great day.

I think amanda got 6-7 mud baths that day, the kids had so much with her.

I want to go!

(This is how I feel right now, like a pouting child!)
So most of you people know that we are only 16 days from now and my sweet number three will be coming to our family! I am very excited, and very nervous. Three seems very daunting and overwhelming! Because of these feelings, Chad and I discussed it and decided I would take a semester off and start school again in the spring. I am 12 credits away from my associates, and although my bachelors is the ultimate goal, I am pushing to get the associates before chad finishes so I can transfer credits easily when we go where ever we are going.

The problem is now that school has started, I REALLY want to go. I know that is is not reasonable to actually take classes on campus, but I can take some on line. That's what I want. I want to take one required class, and then take a class that I took previously and did not get a good grade, I want to replace it and up my GPA!

Am I crazy? Is this reasonable? I want it so bad right now, but in 17 days when i have a new born, and two crazy toddlers, will I totally regret it!! HELP? Any words of advice, or caution!?!

Giving Into Positive Peer Pressure!!!

You know when even the Aunt in CA, notices that you have not blog in a while it is time!!! Sorry I've been a slacker, really just lazy.

Chad started school today. 18 credits and he is very ready. The boys and I are just home. Brax wont start pre-school till next year, he birthday is the end of Sept so he misses the dead line. I did not think this would be a big deal, but a lot of his friends are going to school, and he asked yesterday when he started. He is so smart and I have NO DOUBT he would be able to keep up if not surpass a lot of kids in class (Sorry I'm a pride full mommy). But if you know Brax you know he has his mommies temper! He needs a couple extra time to figure things out when he is angry. SO this extra year is going to help us with that.

This conversation between and Brax yesterday was so classic I just have to share-

Braxton- "mom do you want me to stop growing"
I say this to him all the time, he is getting to big and needs to stop growing!!
ME- "Yes"
Braxton- "Then I can't take a nap."
Me- "Why do you say that?"
Braxton- "Because you say that I need to sleep to grow big like dad. SO I should not take a nap!"

You Cant really argue with the logic!!!

Michael is talking so much! He never stops saying things, even if mom has to ask what 10 times he will repeat himself till we get it and understands him. He is my tame sweet boy, and his spirit is undeniable, the nursery leaders always tell me that they don't want him to leave to primary in Jan, he is to good with the other kids, and such a good helper!

Me, I'm 18 days from baby number three and slightly overwhelmed. I just got a calling that I have no doubt will put me into an early grave. Not sustained yet so not going to mention it yet, but I can GUARANTEE I will be calling many of you for support and love and suggestions!

That's us right now, nothing to exciting.
love you all

These pics were taken by a very sweet talented photographer in Cedar, she sent me an e-mail saying she wanted to help Chad and I remember this time of our lives even with all the stresses! So she gave a free shot, it was so cool to sit and laugh and talk to my sweet heart

These are two of my favorites, but there are so many more at http://noellereynolds.com/index2.php#/rgallery3/8/

Allthough I really feel like my face is huge!!!! I love this picture, my hubby is amazing and always can get me to smile!

This photo is cute and I think belongs in a magazine! So Humble! :)
