I am sure you have all noticed that my blogging record has been less than exemplary...I am sitting at school (not doing my music assignment) and trying to figure out why. In all honesty I can not give you a good excuse. School is tough and my family is very busy yes, but people still manage an occasional update, me not so much! :) I hope to get better when the semester is over, but no guarantees.
Chad is doing well in school. I think. I hope? Uh maybe I should ask him ;) Due to multiple things he will not be retuning to fires this year. We are very excited about this and slightly apprehensive about how we are going to pay for our last year of school with out that fire season savings account. But if I have learned anything in my 5 years married to Chad, it's that as long as we are doing what the Lord asks, we don't need to stress. What a blessing my man is, he always has this reassuring aura about him and I know it is because of his faith in the Lord and His plan for us.
Me...uh...I'm good. I am getting fat. I know that your are thinking "well duh hunny, your pregnant!" but really I don't like it. Take it from some one who took a solid year and lost 65 pounds, the thought of being big again is really discouraging. But as funny as it sounds even in this little trail, I have faith. I know this wonderful soul needs to be part of OUR family, and I KNOW that NOW is when it needs to come, so...I have faith the the Lord will help me get back to where i want to be when all is said and done.
Braxton is great! SO SMART. Really, i know all mom's say that and I know i am biased but he amazes me every single day. Yesterday day he brought me his leap frog learning pad, and on it he had spelled the word MOM.
He says "mom do you know what this spells" in a very teacher like way
I responded with "yes Brax I do. Do you?"
he laughed at me and said "M-O-M spells mom!"
I just about died, gave him a huge hug and kiss and he went on his way! My mom told me from day one that knowing the phonics of a letter was almost as important as knowing the look of the letter, and we have worked on that with our kids. It has paid off. I can not wait to see what will become of my little man.
Michael is so big. He wants to be just like his brother and is talking up a storm. He has a very large vocabulary but on top of that he is working on bigger words, every time I say something to him he tries to copy me. Brother or "BRO" in his words, is his favorite thing to say. We are working on colors right now, he is getting it I think...every color is "geen" (green) we correct and tell him it's purple to which he response "purptle" or no it is yellow he says "blelow" it is a lot of fun.
That's us, who knows when the next post will come. However the semester is done in a month so who knows.
