Medical practice, not perfect

Well to make what could be a very long story, as short as I can. I am having some stomach issues. I had my gal bladder out and still have pain, I have been in and out of the ER and we keep getting different answers. One doctor says it's ulcers, another says it's gastritis? Who know all i know is that these "attacks" come on strong, knock me out and the only way we have found how to get rid of them is some strong pain killers!!!???!!!

I'm getting really fed up and trying really hard to be patience. And my mom being the wonderful woman she is, says "just keep pushing, it's medical practice, not medical perfect." i love you mom! so we wait and will go to the ER again if needed! Who knows I just want answers!

Other than that the Huntsman's are great! We went to visit family and we love to see grandma and grandpa's. Chad has one more week of school and then it is off to work. Braxton is so big and just keeps growing!!! But that is life!

Life

Life for the Huntsman's is good! We have been doing the same routine for the last few months and it is become a little mundane! Chad has only three weeks left of this semester, then he goes of to work. That means I only have three more weeks of being a full time working mom, then I get to stay home. I will still work 20 hours a week but that is so much better than my 35-38 that I put in right now! Really the only reason I am working is because of the benefits. Although the state pays well, you are considered a seasonal employee until five years of service, so no benefits. But 20 hours will be great, and we have the cutest girl watching Braxton. She is a good friend and I would trust her with my life. It worked out well.

Braxton cut a tooth!! And he is "crawling" every where. I say crawling like that because he takes twp or three crawls, then army crawls the rest of the way. It is so cute, but he is now into every thing. i was doing laundry the other day and I hear this little giggle! I look down and my boy had made it down the hall and into my piles. He was so proud of himself. He is very curious and wants to see all there is to see.

Well that is all from the Huntsman's end. I love reading all your blogs and seeing the pics. Trisha you are not so good at keeping us updated, but I do understand that you are rather busy. Love you all! KATY

Friday the 13th

So I know that we have been blogging a whole lot in the last little while, but honestly there has not been a whole lot of stuff going on with us.

I am blogging today because it's Friday the 13th, we haven't blogged in a while, and because I took 2 tests today (of all days) oh! and a quiz. If my last name started with an N-Z I also would have had a fitness test. That is all of my classes! I would have had a test/quiz in all of my classes today! weird.

One test that I took today was only 25 questions long, and the teacher is the strength coach at SUU, so he makes tests REALLY easy. this is his first year teaching this class. He spends most of his time in the weight room.

My other test was in Microbiology, and it was harder. It was 100 questions. now the test was A LOT easier if you got the study guide, because the test was basically the study guide with blanks... but he did throw in a few questions from previous years that he did not go over very much in class. It was okay though.

All in all, it was an okay morning. No nose bleeds or anything else tramatic.

Help!

I am trying to figure more out about this here site. People say it is very user friendly but I have no Idea how to add pictures and videos into the blog posts. So i was wondering if someone would either blog about it, comment to us on how to do it, or simply email us with instructions.

I WIN!!!!!

So I love my job and I am really rather good at it! But I have a boss that is anything but normal. Now I know that most people don't like their bosses for one reason or the other but mine, she takes the cake.

I don't want to be to negative because in all reality she has some qualities that you cant find in other bosses, like she is always willing to put Braxton's health and happiness in front of the job. If he is sick, she sends me home to take care of him, things like that. She also is really awesome at working with all of our schedules.

But she plays these mind games, and makes you feel bad for things you should not feel bad for, like taking a sick day when you have the PTO to cover and you know that there are enough people to cover the store. Then when you call and confront her about the situation she acts as though she is doing you a favor by giving you the time off, and you are now in her debt again.

I feel like I am complaining but I finally stood up to her and called her on her little game, and I won...she got all flustered, said that I was right to call in and that I should have the day and go into the doctor! I am just proud of myself for finally standing up to her and calling her out. I still respect her, she is still my boss but I am interested to see how this will effect our very ornate relationship.
